8th-grade physical science is a hands-on course, designed to give students the necessary skills to think and act like a scientist. The course covers a variety of foundational topics in Chemistry and Physics. Using the Next Generation Science Standards, students will be exposed to common strands within physical science including, but not limited to, the nature of matter, laws of energy, matter, motion and forces, and energy transformations.
